Preventive Services

Under the Affordable Care Act, Health New England must provide coverage for preventive services to our Commercial members. Preventive services are health services necessary for our members to maintain their health and well-being, and include services like routine physical exams or immunizations, screening, and certain pediatric and prenatal services. The most recent updates to our preventive services include:
Lung Cancer Screening – covered only for adults aged 50 to 80
Cologuard®(CPT 81528) – limit 1 every 3 calendar years
