Medicare – TruHearing Benefit

Please read the following update related to various Health New England programs and changes that may have an impact on your patients and/or your practice.
Hearing aid/audiology providers or PCPs who refer Health New England Medicare members for hearing aid services:
Health New England has partnered with TruHearing, a national hearing aid provider, to develop an enhanced hearing aid benefit for Health New England Medicare Advantage members. The benefit allows members to have the latest technology in digital hearing aids and helps minimize members’ out-of-pocket expense.
Effective January 1, 2017, Medicare Advantage members will have access to the TruHearing Select program, which covers up to two Flyte hearing aids per year for a copayment.
