EviCore Healthcare, LLC, a national leader in integrated, innovative intelligent care management solutions, collaborates with Health New England in the management of authorizations and reporting for all of our business lines.
Through an online portal, our network has the ease of obtaining authorizations for services related to high-cost imaging, a sleep study program and genetic testing. However, there are times when, through the course of treatment, the already approved services change. When this occurs, we ask that you call eviCore to request the change to an already approved authorization. With some services, such as the sleep study, if you attempt to do this online, the following message will appear “There is a same or similar CPT already approved. Are you sure you want to proceed?” and will not allow you to continue with the change.
In addition, there are times when a request for an authorization requires the physician to consult with a Medical Director at eviCore through peer-to-peer. In these situations, the physician needs to call eviCore to schedule this meeting. This is not something you can schedule through the portal.
