Overfed but undernourished?
Posted on May 7, 2013
Is it really it possible? A study conducted by Oxford University and Harvard Medical School found that one-third of the homeless people in the U.S. are obese along with one-third of the general population. But even though we have access to more “food” than ever before in history, we are not getting the nutrients we need from the food choices we’re making. The problem is partially due to the processed foods we eat. You can fill up on fries, chips, cookies and diet soda but never feel satisfied because they have so little nutritional value.
