Remember the main purpose of your garage?

Hint—it has four wheels.
Now that the nice weather is here and you can see into people’s garages when driving or walking around, it’s amazing how much stuff people have. In a recent nationwide poll, only 58 percent of respondents claimed to use their garage for their vehicle.
Summer is a great time to clean out the garage. Just follow the simple rules: give away, put away, and throw away. First, take EVERYTHING out of the garage. You’re more inclined to purge if you approach it this way. Sweep it out, and put back the obvious items—gardening tools, lawn mower, snow blower, bicycles. Use shelving and hang as many items as you can to get them off the floor.
Once everything has its place, think twice before putting back all the “stuff” you just took out!
