After a year unlike any other, many of our members are looking to 2021 with a renewed sense of hope. And, while the new year comes with important goals and resolutions, many are also continuing to look at how they can save money and possibly save on their prescription drugs.

It’s no secret that medication prices continue to rise year after year. This January, about 70 drug makers announced annual price increases at an average of 3.3%, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The good news is Health New England can help our members! That is why we’ve partnered with Rx Savings Solutions to offer a free, confidential online service that helps members find the best price for prescription drugs.

Rx Savings Solutions uses claims data, the member’s actual plan benefits, and accumulators to determine how our members can save money at the pharmacy. When they find a way a member can pay less, they’ll automatically alert them based on their communication preferences (text, email or letter).
