Every year, The Myers Group, an independent survey vendor, mails out a survey to a random selection of HNE members. The survey is called the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey.
This survey collects information on your experience and satisfaction with your health care and health plan services:
- Overall health care and health plan satisfaction.
- Health plan customer service.
- Personal doctor and specialist satisfaction.
- Receiving needed care and getting care without delays.
Here is a sample question:
- Using any number from 0 to 10, in which 0 is the worst health plan possible and 10 is the best health plan possible, what number would you use to rate HNE? Numbers 8, 9 or 10 can be used if you feel HNE is the best health plan and numbers 0 to 3 if you feel HNE is the worst health plan.
If you receive the survey, please fill it out and send it back in the self-addressed, stamped envelope provided. The information you provide is kept private and won’t affect your HNE membership.
It is important that we receive your survey back. Based on your responses in the survey, we may be able to change or improve our processes or eliminate some steps to make it easier for you to get care or service.
