As a Health New England Medicare Advantage member, multiple screening tests are available to you depending on your health and risk factors, including colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and fecal immunochemical test (FIT), among others.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, beginning January 1, 2021, a prior authorization (PA) will no longer be required for Cologuard\u00ae, or FIT-DNA test, as this is considered preventive care and is covered every three years by your Medicare Advantage plan.<\/p>\n<p>For more details about colorectal cancer screening coverage, please refer to the Evidence of Coverage (EOC) for your plan.
