{"id":9094,"date":"2020-04-22T20:13:14","date_gmt":"2020-04-22T20:13:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hnetalk.com\/member\/?p=9094"},"modified":"2020-04-28T13:04:07","modified_gmt":"2020-04-28T13:04:07","slug":"feeding-the-frontline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hnetalk.com\/member\/feeding-the-frontline\/","title":{"rendered":"FEEDING THE FRONTLINE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Exciting News!<\/em> Health New England has arranged special food deliveries to local hospitals to show our gratitude to all the frontline health care workers who have been working endlessly during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>To date, we\u2019ve had 142 lunches delivered to the frontlines at Baystate Mary Lane, Baystate Wing, Mercy Medical Center and Cooley Dickinson.<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer Bailey, Patient Relations Specialist of Berkshire Medical Center, was thrilled with the sweet treat from Health New England. Her response to the cookie delivery that was distributed last week:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI put these cookies in a basket during the evening\/night shift and walked around our facility distributing them to whomever I met.\u00a0 I covered our entire main campus.\u00a0 They were so well received that now when the staff sees me they are looking to see if I am going to be doing cookie delivery again.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This feedback thrills us that our small gesture made such an impact. We can\u2019t wait to schedule the rest of our deliveries!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s a look at the Feeding the Frontline effort by the numbers: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500 cookies delivered to all units at Berkshire Medical Center from Union Block Bakery on Wednesday, April 15.<\/li>\n<li>33 lunches delivered to Baystate Wing from Monson&#8217;s Main Street Tavern on Friday, April 17.<\/li>\n<li>19 lunches delivered to Baystate Mary Lane from Monson&#8217;s Main Street Tavern on Friday, April 17.<\/li>\n<li>65 lunches delivered to Mercy Medical Center from Holyoke&#8217;s Delaney House\/Log Cabin on Friday, April 17.<\/li>\n<li>25 lunches delivered to Cooley Dickinson Hospital from Northampton&#8217;s HighBrow Wood Fired Kitchen + Bar on Wednesday, April 22.<\/li>\n<li>70 meals scheduled for delivery from Westfield&#8217;s The Tavern\u00a0 to the 3rd shift at Baystate Noble on Saturday, April 25.<\/li>\n<li>Meals are scheduled to be delivered to Baystate Medical Center soon from Nadim\u2019s who decided to match Health New England\u2019s $500 donation through their <em>Donate to a Hero<\/em> fund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Exciting News!
