Dear Health New England Member:<\/p>\n

As we do two times each year, we are notifying you of some changes to your Plan. Some of these changes are driven by regulation, some aim to improve your experience, and others are intended to control rising health care costs. Unless otherwise noted, these changes become effective July 1, 2018.<\/p>\n

Below is an amendment to your Health New England Explanation of Coverage. This amendment outlines changes to certain benefits and programs that are part of the standard benefit plan.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Prior Approval for items listed under the benefit for Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
\n\u2022 Assignment of a Primary Care Provider (PCP)
\n\u2022 Additional items that qualify for Health New England\u2019s Wellness Reimbursement Program
\n\u2022 Ultraviolet light and cabinets are not a covered benefit
\n\u2022 Enhanced program for the safe use of opioid medications
\n\u2022 Online access to pharmacy information through OptumRx (Health New England\u2019s pharmacy benefits manager)
\n\u2022 Prescription drug coverage changes<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
