Teladoc is an affordable and convenient alternative to the urgent care center or emergency room\u00a0for non-emergency medical issues, and Teladoc guarantees to connect you with a doctor in less\u00a0than an hour.<\/p>\n

Account set-up<\/strong>
\nWe recommend you set up your account in advance to save time when you really need it.\u00a0Go to Teladoc.com<\/a>, use the mobile app, or call 1-800-Teladoc (835-2362) to get started or to\u00a0request a consultation.<\/p>\n

Consultations and cost<\/strong>
\nYou can request a phone or online video consultation with a Teladoc physician for non-emergency\u00a0medical issues such as treatment for flu, allergies, bronchitis and more. Teladoc physicians can also\u00a0prescribe non-narcotic, short-term prescriptions.<\/p>\n

As a Health New England Medicare Advantage member, your cost for a Teladoc consultation is the\u00a0same as a visit to your primary care provider (PCP).<\/p>\n

Please note that Teladoc should not be used for treatment of chronic conditions and is not intended\u00a0to replace your PCP. Always contact your PCP first for non-emergency medical issues. However, if\u00a0you are unable to reach your PCP, you have Teladoc. If your PCP\u2019s fax number is provided, Teladoc\u00a0will send a copy of the visit to your PCP after the consultation.<\/p>\n
