As a Health New England Medicare Advantage member, you can take advantage of telehealth services\u2020 through Teladoc. With Teladoc, you have access to U.S. board-certified physicians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.<\/p>\n

Teladoc is an affordable and convenient alternative to the urgent care center or emergency room for non-emergency medical issues, and Teladoc guarantees to connect you with a doctor in less than an hour.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Account set-up<\/strong><\/p>\n

We recommend you set up your account in advance to save time when you really need it. Go to Teladoc.com<\/a>, use the mobile app, or call 1-800-Teladoc (835-2362) to get started or to request a consultation.<\/p>\n

Consultations and cost<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can request a phone or online video consultation with a Teladoc physician to treat non-emergency medical issues such as a cold or the flu, urinary tract infections, ear infections and more. Teladoc physicians can also prescribe non-narcotic, short-term prescriptions.<\/p>\n

As a Health New England Medicare Advantage member, your cost for a Teladoc consultation is the same as a visit to your primary care provider (PCP).<\/p>\n

Please note that Teladoc should not be used for treatment of chronic conditions and is not intended to replace your PCP. In many cases, the Teladoc provider will send a copy of the visit to your PCP after the consultation.<\/p>\n
