\nTrees are donated and decorated by businesses, civic and social organizations, schools, hospitals, families and individuals and then are raffled off at the conclusion of the event. Health New England is a tree sponsor. All proceeds of the event will help the Springfield Boys & Girls Club\u2019s continue its 124 years of charitable work by providing children in the community with hope, opportunity and a safe place to learn and grow. \nThe Hot Chocolate Run for Safe Passage is a 5k run and 3k walk through downtown Northampton to promote freedom from violence in Hampshire County. Since 2004, the Hot Chocolate Run has been a community celebration of Safe Passage, the Hampshire County organization addressing domestic violence. Health New England is a presenting sponsor. This year, 6,000 participants are expected in the 5K road race, 5K fun run and 3K walk. Register to participate or just go to cheer everyone on.
