Some upcoming events that Health New England is sponsoring include the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Springfield Boys &amp; Girls Club\u2019s 16th Annual Festival of Trees<\/strong><br \/>\nNovember 25 \u2013 December 11<br \/>\nTower Square, 1500 Main Street, Springfield<br \/>\nTrees are donated and decorated by businesses, civic and social organizations, schools, hospitals, families and individuals and then are raffled off at the conclusion of the event. Health New England is a tree sponsor. All proceeds of the event will help the Springfield Boys &amp; Girls Club\u2019s continue its 124 years of charitable work by providing children in the community with hope, opportunity and a safe place to learn and grow. Last year\u2019s Festival of Trees raised $150,000. For more information, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brightnights.org\/visitor-info\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.brightnights.org\/visitor-info<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>13th Annual Hot Chocolate Run for Safe Passage<\/strong><br \/>\nSunday, December 4<br \/>\nDowntown Northampton<br \/>\nThe Hot Chocolate Run for Safe Passage is a 5k run and 3k walk through downtown Northampton to promote freedom from violence in Hampshire County. Since 2004, the Hot Chocolate Run has been a community celebration of Safe Passage, the Hampshire County organization addressing domestic violence. Health New England is a presenting sponsor. This year, 6,000 participants are expected in the 5K road race, 5K fun run and 3K walk. Register to participate or just go to cheer everyone on.
