Studies show that smokers who work with a health care provider have a greater chance of quitting smoking.<\/p>\n<p>Health New England offers smoking cessation coverage to all members. In addition, Health New England is collaborating with Baystate Health and CVS Health on an exciting program called Start to Stop<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>. The Start to Stop smoking cessation program is offered through MinuteClinic<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, the walk-in clinic inside select CVS\/pharmacy<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> stores.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Start to Stop<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Start to Stop program* provides Health New England members eight no-cost visits to the MinuteClinic that include one-on-one counseling with a nurse practitioner. Also, the Start to Stop program offers:<br \/>\n\u2022 Nicotine dependence assessment<br \/>\n\u2022 Customized smoking cessation plan and education<br \/>\n\u2022 Ongoing coaching and support<br \/>\n\u2022 Nicotine replacement recommendations or prescriptions, when clinically appropriate ($0 cost sharing for generics\/brand name nicotine replacement therapy; quantity limit of 2 cycles per year for all products)<\/p>\n<p><em>*Patients must be 18 years of age and older. Services and age restrictions vary by state.
