{"id":4395,"date":"2016-03-22T16:25:20","date_gmt":"2016-03-22T16:25:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hnetalk.com\/member\/?p=4395"},"modified":"2016-03-24T20:39:55","modified_gmt":"2016-03-24T20:39:55","slug":"are-you-having-a-baby-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hnetalk.com\/member\/are-you-having-a-baby-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Are You Having a Baby?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new baby in the family is the greatest gift, and Health New England wants to help with a few gifts of our own for Be Healthy<sup style=\"font-size: 10-small; vertical-align: top;\">TM<\/sup> members.<\/p>\n<p>Through the Be Healthy\u00a0Maternity Program, if you are a soon-to-be or new mother, you receive many helpful benefits and a small gift at each stage of maternity:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A maternity packet about key health topics<\/li>\n<li>A baby onesie after you enroll in the program<\/li>\n<li>A pair of slipper socks at your combined 2nd and 3rd trimester review<\/li>\n<li>A digital thermometer after your post-delivery follow-up<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>You can also get:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A free double electric breast pump<\/li>\n<li>Free books about having a baby and caring for your baby<\/li>\n<li>Information about the \u201ctext4baby\u201d program, accessed by texting BABY (or BEBE in Spanish) to 511411 to get helpful tips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Other free extras for Be Healthy\u00a0members include bike helmets, dental kits and child car or booster seats. Age and other limits may apply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the program<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More than 70 soon-to-be and new mothers enroll in the program each month. When a member enrolls, the first step is an assessment to review questions about the pregnancy and to inform members about other helpful services. A review is also done during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, and again after the baby\u2019s birth. These assessments help detect high-risk pregnancies and other serious issues such as domestic violence, substance abuse and post-partum depression.<\/p>\n<p>Each member is mentored over the phone by a Health New England Care Coordinator.
