Selecting a PCP is required for HMO plan members. Although a PCP is not required for PPO members, it is highly recommended for continuity of care. Your PCP is more than just a doctor or medical caregiver \u2013 they are your partner in health. Your PCP will coordinate your care to help you stay healthy, from annual physicals and immunizations to lab tests and specialty care.<\/p>\n<p>To select a PCP or change your PCP of record, you can do one of the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Register for and log into the Member Portal at my.healthnewengland.org.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click the Provider Search button in the left navigation.<\/li>\n<li>Use the search tool to find a Primary Care Physician.<\/li>\n<li>Then click the green \u201cSelect Primary Care Provider\u201d button to choose your PCP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact our Member Services team for help finding a PCP or to update your PCP on file.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Phone: (877) 443-3314 (TTY: 711), 8:00 a.m. &#8211; 8:00 p.m., Monday-Friday (Oct. 1 &#8211; Mar. 31: 8:00 a.m. &#8211; 8:00 p.m. \/ 7 days a week)<\/li>\n<li>Email: memberservices@hne.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Use our Provider Search tool to find a PCP and other providers in Health New England\u2019s network, including hospitals, specialists, nutritionists, and behavioral health providers at <a href=\"https:\/\/healthnewengland.org\/medicare\/provider\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">healthnewengland.org\/medicare\/provider<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whether you are a new member with Health New England or have been with us for years, it\u2019s important to have a Primary Care Provider (PCP) on file with us.
