Hearing loss sneaks up slowly on most people; they don’t even hear it coming! Most Americans wait five to seven years before getting help for hearing loss. But now there’s help from Health New England. Hearing Care Solutions (HCS), a hearing network management company, has joined the HNEPlus Discount Program.
Some common symptoms of hearing loss include:
- Finding that hearing is muffled or unclear
- Frequently asking people to repeat what they say
- Raising the volume on a TV or other device beyond what is comfortable for others
- Avoiding conversations or social settings because it is difficult to hear or join the discussion
HCS is now offering HNE members a valuable new hearing care program that includes:
A wide selection of hearing aids at fixed prices (ranging from $825 to $1,750, depending upon technology level)
- Two-year supply of batteries (128 cells)
The following are included with hearing aids purchased from HCS:
- A three-year warranty, including loss and damage
- A 30-day hearing aid evaluation period
- In-office servicing at no charge for one year
