Powered by technology and digital health tools, Virta\u2019s care team provides expert medical care, coaching, and on-demand virtual support. Virta&#8217;s personalized approach will help members sustainably lose weight while controlling blood sugar with fewer or no medications. For Commercial members, eligibility includes type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, or a BMI of 27 or greater. Self-funded groups with prescription coverage through Health New England have the option to opt into the program.
