{"id":4613,"date":"2019-04-02T20:42:10","date_gmt":"2019-04-02T20:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hnetalk.com\/provider\/?p=4613"},"modified":"2019-04-02T20:44:07","modified_gmt":"2019-04-02T20:44:07","slug":"new-autism-professional-services-codes-coming-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/hnetalk.com\/provider\/new-autism-professional-services-codes-coming-soon\/","title":{"rendered":"New  Autism Professional Services Codes Coming Soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>Attention Behavioral Health Providers:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Recently, the American Medical Association (AMA) announced changes to how Adaptive Behavior Services (ABA) will be billed in 2019, but will allow payers to implement on various schedules. <strong>Health New England has made a decision to implement these changes effective June 1, 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>What you can expect with this change:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some current \u201cCategory III\u201d and the \u201cH-Codes\u201d will no longer be accepted.<\/li>\n<li>Eight (8) new codes, labeled 97151 \u2013 97158, will be available for billing.<\/li>\n<li>Health New England\u2019s authorization form will be updated to reflect these changes and will be ready for use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While we understand this will be a big change for you, we are committed to helping you through this transition.
