Small Group Business is defined as employers that have 50 employees or fewer.<\/p>\n<p>Effective January 1, 2017, Health New England will be contracting with EyeMed Vision Care to provide Small Group pediatric members coverage for routine eye exams and eyewear purchases. Below is a summary of the services offered through EyeMed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Routine Exam \u2013 Paid-in-full benefit without copay \u2013 1x\/calendar year.<\/li>\n<li>Frames \u2013 100% coverage for provider designated frames \u2013 1x\/calendar year.<\/li>\n<li>Lenses \u2013 Paid-in-full benefit without copay \u2013 1x\/calendar year.<\/li>\n<li>Contact Lenses \u2013 100% coverage for provider designated contact lenses \u2013 1x\/calendar year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Services provided to all other Commercial Small Group Business members aged 19 and older, and all other plans and vision related services, will continue to be offered through Health New England.<\/p>\n<p>Health New England is working directly with contracted ophthalmologists and optometrists to inform them of this coverage.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions about the information in this notice, please contact Health New England Provider Relations at (800) 842-4464, extension 5000.
