We are changing our appearance, and renewing our commitment to quality and outstanding service.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Together, we have been meeting the health care needs of our communities for more than 30 years, and\u00a0will continue to do so by providing quality health plans, including our Be Healthy\u2122 MassHealth plans and\u00a0our Medicare Advantage plans. And now, we\u2019re renewing our commitment to our members and partners\u00a0through our all new logo and brand promise: \u201cWhere you matter.\u201d<\/p>\n

We will refer to ourselves by our full name, Health New England, more often than HNE, and we will be\u00a0simplifying the way you see us by using one unified Health New England logo for all communications.<\/p>\n

When will I start seeing the new logo?
\nYou can expect to see our new logo regularly on correspondence beginning in February 2016, although\u00a0there still may be some places where you see our old HNE logo over the next several months as we work\u00a0through this transition. We are also updating and improving our website, healthnewengland.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We are committed to keeping you informed as we go through this change.<\/strong>
\nAt this time we simply ask that \u00a0you notify your administrative staff about the logo change so that they recognize it as they encounter it. \u00a0We have included frequently asked questions below\u00a0for your convenience. Here are some answers to questions you may have:<\/em><\/p>\n

Will Health New England member ID cards change?<\/strong>
\nWe are working to add the new Health New England logo to our ID cards. This will take place gradually over the course of the next year, with members continuing to use their existing ID cards in the interim. The layout and information on our cards will not change. Only the logo, background color and font will change. We will provide additional updates as needed while we work through this transition.<\/p>\n

Are you still offering Be Healthy\u2122 MassHealth plans?<\/strong>
\nYes. Although we will no longer cover CarePlus members (rating categories 9 and 10), we will continue to offer our Be Healthy\u2122 plans to cover traditional MassHealth members (rating categories 1 and 2). After Feb. 1, 2016 we will proudly serve over 64,000 MassHealth members through our Be Healthy\u2122 plan.

Are your plan names changing?<\/strong>
\nNo. Our plan names will not be changing. Our Medicare Advantage and Be Healthy\u2122 MassHealth plans will now use the new Health New England logo versus their own unique logo variation, but the plan name will still be clearly identifiable on our ID cards and relevant documents and correspondence.<\/p>\n

Are your forms changing?<\/strong>
\nOur forms will remain on the provider section of our website and will eventually be updated with the new logo. Other than the logo, there will be no changes to the current forms you use or how you submit the forms to Health New England.<\/p>\n

Are your websites changing?<\/strong>
\nYes. We are launching a new and improved website. Our website URL will be changing\u00a0from hne.com<\/a> to healthnewengland.org<\/a>. However, either web address will work after 2\/1\/16.<\/p>\n

Our provider blog, HNEtalk (hnetalk.com\/provider<\/a>), and broker portal, HNEDirect\u00a0(hnedirect.com<\/a>), will both be updated with our new logo, but their functionality and respective\u00a0URLs will remain the same.<\/p>\n

Will the new logo be on all of your communications going forward?<\/strong>
\nWhile the new logo will be on many of the communications you receive going forward, some items may still have our old logo on it while we work through this transition over the next several months.<\/p>\n

I receive manual checks. Will this be changing?<\/strong>
\nIf you currently receive payments from Health New England in the form of paper checks versus electronic transfers, this will not change. The envelope you receive your check in will likely have an updated Health New England logo on it, and over time, the check you receive will also feature a new logo, but nothing else will change.<\/p>\n

Do I need to take any action?<\/strong>
\nNo significant action is required on your part at this time. We simply ask that you make any relevant administrative staff aware of the logo change so that they recognize it as they encounter it going forward.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
