As a result, the ID cards were printed and mailed to members with incomplete member ID numbers. They were missing the suffix number \u201c01.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The error has been corrected and new ID cards have been mailed to all affected Medicare Advantage members. We are asking those members to destroy their old ID card once they receive their new card.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>If you encounter issues processing a claim with Health New England because of this ID card error, please simply add \u201c01\u201d to the end of the member ID number listed on the member\u2019s ID card and it should process successfully.
