Health New England (HNE) is committed to providing our members with access to high-quality health care. To ensure affordability for our members, we will implement a change in the way we manage certain specialty drugs that fall under the medical benefit and certain specialty oncology drugs that would fall under the pharmacy benefit. This new program will be administered by Magellan Rx Management (Magellan). Beginning January 4, 2016, Magellan will assist us with a new process for reviewing and approving these specialty drugs.<\/p>\n

To make sure you are ready for this transition, we are encouraging your participation in online webinar trainings. Understanding our new procedures will ensure your claims are processed quickly and accurately. Find out how the Magellan team of experts can assist you to streamline the prior approval process so you can move forward with the business of caring for your patients.<\/p>\n

Join us for an hour-long Web-based training session presented by Magellan so you can familiarize yourself and your staff with the policy and procedures for our program. The training session will also show you how to establish access to the Magellan web site and how to request prior approvals using the Magellan easy-to-use online tools.<\/p>\n
