Please see below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Doc 2 Doc Dial-in Discussion Series: Addressing Substance Use Disorders in Primary Care<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Doc 2 Doc Dial-in Discussion Series is a free Continuing Medical Education (CME) training program for primary care clinicians (PCCs). \u00a0The series is comprised of five half-hour sessions hosted by the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership (MBHP) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (BSAS) on Friday mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. \u00a0A subject matter expert will begin each session with topical education followed by a facilitated question and answer period.<\/p>\n<p>The next discussion will take place on <strong>Friday, February 6, 2015, 7:30 a.m. &#8211; 8:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pain Management and Prevention of Substance Use Addiction in Primary Care<\/strong><br \/>\nPresented by Ruth Potee, MD &#8211; Valley Medical Group<br \/>\nIn this second session of the series, Dr. Potee will discuss evidence-based treatment protocols for pain management in primary care; assessing for potential substance abuse, including whether a patient is in trouble with prescriptions; and using formal agreements with patients when prescribing.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Attached is the brochure<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/03c4283.netsolhost.com\/provider\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Doc2DocEducationalSeriesbrochure-Session2.pdf\">Doc2DocEducationalSeriesbrochure-Session2<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you are interested in free CME credits, MBHP, our behavioral health delegate for our Be Healthy line of business is sponsoring a free discussion series on behavioral health issues in the Primary Care setting.
