Payment Policies Update (October 2024)

Health New England is committed to reviewing our internal procedures and defining coverage and billing guidelines with applicable laws and industry standards to ensure our policies are appropriate. To access payment policies, please visit healthnewengland.org/Providers/Resources. 

The following policies were reviewed and updated:

  • Added G2211 language   
  • If G2211 is billed to HNE with an evaluation and management CPT code and a modifier 25, HNE will deny. 
Evaluation and Management Professional Services   12/1/2024 
  • Commercial and Medicaid 
  • Added G2211  
  • If G2211 is billed to HNE with an evaluation and management CPT code and a modifier 25, HNE will deny.
