HNEDirect Password Updates

HNEDirect Provider Portal Users:
To better protect our stakeholders’ information, we are changing our HNEDirect password policy in accordance with industry guidelines and best practices. If you are a user of HNEDirect, your password will be expired during the month of December and you will be asked during the login process to reset your password according to the new guidelines below:
- Password must be a minimum of 8 characters in length.
- Password must contain characters from 3 of the following 4 categories:
o Uppercase alphabetic character
o Lowercase alphabetic character
o Numeric character (0 through 9)
o Special character - New password cannot be the same as the previous 10 passwords that were used.
- After this initial reset, you will be asked to change your password every 90 days.
