Teladoc®– Talk to a Doctor Anytime

As a Health New England Medicare Advantage member, you can take advantage of telehealth services† through Teladoc. With Teladoc, you have access to U.S. board-certified physicians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Teladoc is an affordable and convenient alternative to the urgent care center or emergency room for non-emergency medical issues, and Teladoc guarantees to connect you with a doctor in less than an hour.
Account set-up
We recommend you set up your account in advance to save time when you really need it. Go to Teladoc.com, use the mobile app, or call 1-800-Teladoc (835-2362) to get started or to request a consultation.
Consultations and cost
You can request a phone or online video consultation with a Teladoc physician for non-emergency medical issues such as treatment for flu, allergies, bronchitis and more. Teladoc physicians can also prescribe non-narcotic, short-term prescriptions.
As a Health New England Medicare Advantage member, your cost for a Teladoc consultation is the same as a visit to your primary care provider (PCP).
Please note that Teladoc should not be used for treatment of chronic conditions and is not intended to replace your PCP. Always contact your PCP first for non-emergency medical issues. However, if you are unable to reach your PCP, you have Teladoc. If your PCP’s fax number is provided, Teladoc will send a copy of the visit to your PCP after the consultation.
