New Chewsi® App for Dental Savings
Posted on December 13, 2018
Health New England is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Chewsi to provide our members with no-cost access to savings on dental care.
About Chewsi
Chewsi connects you with dentists who offer significant savings on dental services at every visit. Chewsi makes oral health care easy and more affordable by offering discounts for dental services when you pay with the Chewsi app at the time of your visit.
- The savings can only be obtained from a dental services provider who is in the Chewsi network.
- Chewsi can help you save money if you don’t have dental insurance; or, if you’re insured, but want dental care that’s not covered by your dental plan.
- With Chewsi, you can view prices ahead of time to help you make better informed health care decisions.
How to use Chewsi
Chewsi is easy for members to use. Follow these simple steps:
- Download the Chewsi app at the App Store or get it on Google Play.
- Register with referral code HNE.
- Find a Chewsi dentist and call to book an appointment.
- Pay with the app at the time of service.

Is this covered under the Scantic Valley HNE Health Plan? My wife is employed in the HWRSD and our health insurance is with HNE.
Thank you,

I have dental Insurace but it doesn’t cover much. I need a root canal and crown that’s about $3200.00-$3400.00. Will this be covered or discounted? I’ve been putting it off for years because I can’t affird it. HNE keeps going up in cost. I pay $320 a month plus a $3000 deductible. Co pays are $40 and some meds aren’t covered and I have to pay out of pocket. Just had a back surgery and now I’m drowning in medical bills that I can’t pay. I was out of work from both of my jobs for months. Anyways HNE need to lower the cost. I want to mention that’s what I pay for just myself. No kids or husband. With what we pay everything should be covered!
