Here for You During COVID-19

At Health New England, we understand the impact COVID-19 has had on every single person who lives and works in our community. Our thoughts are with you, your loved ones and the local health care professionals that have worked tirelessly over the past six months to help those in need. With our members going through so much, it’s important to remember one thing: we’re in this together. During the COVID-19 state of emergency, we’ve implemented the following measures to help you:
1. Testing & Treatment: No out-of-pocket costs for COVID-19 diagnostic testing ordered by a medical professional, and medically necessary emergency department, inpatient and outpatient services, including professional, diagnostic and laboratory services related to COVID-19.
2. Telehealth: No out-of-pocket costs for telehealth services for all conditions with network providers and with Teladoc®, our telehealth platform.
3. Prior Approvals: Removed prior authorizations for members receiving medical care for COVID-19.
4. Rx Refills: Allowing early refills consistent with federal, state and local guidance. We have a 90-day maintenance medication benefit for both retail and mail-order (applies to members who have prescription coverage through Health New England).
