Health Care Quality from Your Point of View – CAHPS® Survey
Posted on November 12, 2015
What is CAHPS*? It stands for “Consumer Assessment of Health Care Providers and Systems.” It’s a program that asks members like you what you think about the quality of care that you get from Health New England and your health care providers. This independent and confidential survey is conducted on Health New England’s behalf by SPG Analytics.
You may get a CAHPS survey by mail or over the phone in early 2016. If you do, please take a few minutes to complete it.
The CAHPS survey asks about your personal experiences with providers and your health plan. Topics in the survey may include:
- How well you can access the care you need
- How well your providers communicate with you
- Your experiences with our customer service
- The health care information you receive
Health New England values this feedback. The answers you give can help us improve the services we provide you. They can also help health care providers know how they are doing. Your opinion does matter.
