Get More from Your Wellness Reimbursement

Do you use apps on your phone to stay healthy and help track your activity? Well, now you can use your Health New England Wellness Reimbursement to help pay for those, effective July 1, 2019.
In addition to the Wellness Reimbursement increase for 2019 to $200* per individual and $400* per family per calendar year, we’re supporting your wellness goals by including reimbursement for the following:*
- Mindfulness apps
- Nutrition apps
- Physical activity apps
- Bike shares
So whether you are using a yoga app in your living room or on vacation renting a bicycle from a bike share program, you can get reimbursed for those healthy activities.
Don’t forget, Health New England will also reimburse you for the following wellness services and activities:*
- Qualifying fitness club memberships
- Weight Watchers®
- School and town sports
- Aerobic/wellness classes
- Personal trainer fees
- Athletic event registration fees
- Golf
- Ski tickets
- Fitness equipment and devices (i.e., treadmill, workout videos)
- Nutrition classes
- Mindfulness classes
- Community supported agriculture (CSA) or farm shares

How to Request Your Reimbursement Online
Submitting your wellness reimbursement request is easy. Just log into Health New England’s secure online member portal at my.healthnewengland.org. Once logged in, click on the Forms tab >> Wellness Fitness Reimbursement Form and begin your submission. Receipts are not required. Requests must be submitted by March 31 to be reimbursed for the previous year.
