Be Healthy Benefits Reminder

Health New England Be HealthyTM – your local MassHealth Plan – provides coverage for the same services as MassHealth, plus more. With Be HealthyTM, you are covered for the following benefits (see your Member Handbook for full details):
- Pharmacy and prescription drugs – same copays as MassHealth*
- OB/GYN, family planning and prenatal care
- Pediatric care and well-child checkups
- Behavioral health
- X-rays and lab tests
- Chiropractic care
- Vision care
You have easy access to care with no referrals needed for in-plan doctors. We also provide care management for asthma, diabetes and coronary artery disease, and special programs for other complex care needs.
We have a bilingual nurse line available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for when you have health questions – (866) 389-7613.
Free Extra Benefits
We want to help you make healthy lifestyle choices, so Be Healthy™ members also get free Extra Benefits:
- Wellness reimbursement allowance ($50 per member, $200 for a family of four)
- FREE dental kit (call Member Services to request this)
- FREE gifts and items for you and your baby through our “Bee” Healthy Babies Program for expecting mothers and children
- HNEPlus Discount Program – get discounts a local vendors by showing your Health New England ID card – visit healthnewengland.org/hneplus for more details
- Smoking cessation – get help to quit smoking through the Start to Stop® smoking cessation program.
