A humbling experience

This year I had the pleasure of volunteering with my colleagues at Health New England’s United Way Day of Caring event.  We were tasked with painting a long hallway in an older elementary school located in Westfield, MA.

The staff at the school was so incredibly welcoming and grateful for our presence.  As groups of children walked down the hall they all said thank you and complimented our work.

Our team came together and got more work than the school staff had anticipated. We had a lot of fun while getting a lot of projects completed for the school.  It was a truly rewarding experience.
