Health New England is excited to announce a new offering. We have selected Altus as a provider of vision benefits for employer groups. Altus Dental has partnered with VSP, a national leader in vision benefits to offer Altus Vision. VSP provides access to the largest network of independent doctors, popular retailers like Walmart, Costco Optical, and more, including on-line shopping options.

As part of this partnership, Altus Vision will offer four value-packed plans that can be bundled with Altus Dental. For Large Groups, a stand-alone Vision plan may be an option. Under these plans, members can expect increased savings for in-network services, including coverage for the following:

• Exams/Lens/Frame
• Contacts (in Lieu of Glasses)
• Well Vision Exam; Contact Lens Fitting & Evaluation (after copay)
• And Value-added Programs & Extra Discounts

These benefits are in addition to what Health New England already offers as part of our preventive care coverage for annual eye exams, and our pediatric vision benefit for Small Groups, administered by EyeMed.
