Clinical and Care Management Programs Recap
Posted on November 23, 2021
2021 has been a busy year as we rolled out several clinical and care management programs to improve overall health outcomes for members and help manage costs. Below is a recap of these programs.
ProgenyHealth
Since this summer, Health New England has been partnering with ProgenyHealth LLC, to support Health New England members* who require a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit stay after birth. ProgenyHealth provides education and guidance to parents, caregivers, and their newborn through the first year of life, while reducing NICU costs. ProgenyHealth is the only national company dedicated exclusively to NICU Care Management — utilization management, case management and payment validation and assurance services. Learn more.
Babyscripts
Earlier this fall, Health New England launched our collaboration with Babyscripts, the leading virtual care platform for managing obstetrics, to deliver pregnancy care solutions to all members* regardless of socioeconomic status. Through Babyscripts’ unique joint deployment model, our pregnant members will have access to the Babyscripts Virtual Maternity Care application. These members will get timely information about their pregnancy journey, and they will be able to connect with their providers via the Babyscripts app. Currently, several Baystate Health obstetrics providers are participating in Babyscripts and are communicating directly with their patients through the app. Health New England plans to bring additional in-network providers on board with Babyscripts in the future.
findhelp Community Resource Search Tool
Health New England is now offering members access to findhelp. Formerly known as Aunt Bertha, findhelp is a social care network platform that connects people to verified social care providers that serve their community. The search is based on a member’s zip code that they enter into the tool. Try it out at healthnewengland.findhelp.com.
