Health New England offers several cost-effective alternatives to the emergency room for members needing urgent care. Be sure to share the following with your employees.

We have a comprehensive network of Urgent Care Facilities with several new urgent care providers that have recently come on board. Our network also includes various Walk-In Health Care Centers.

Members can easily look up our full network of providers, including in-network Urgent Care Facilities and Walk-In Health Care Centers, by using our Find a Provider search tool found at the top of each page on our website at healthnewengland.org.

• In the Provider search tool, use the “Specialties” drop down menu to select either “Urgent Care Facility” or “Walk-In Health Care Center” and then click Search.

Health New England also provides a telehealth benefit through Teladoc®.  Teladoc is a low-cost option included in plan benefits for members that may be appropriate for certain types of urgent care situations.
