HNE announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Maura McCaffrey as President andChief Executive Officer and member of its Board of Directors effective April 7, 2014.  McCaffrey previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at HNE.

Since joining the company in 2003, McCaffrey has spearheaded strategy and technical shifts across the company’s growing lines of business.  After joining HNE as Manager of Pharmacy Services, Ms. McCaffrey received successive promotions in senior leadership until her most recent role in 2012, when she was named Chief Operating Officer. In her role as COO, McCaffrey was responsible for overseeing Marketing and Business Development, Information Technology and Sales.  As President & CEO, she sits on the Baystate Health President’s Cabinet under the leadership of Mark Tolosky, BH President & CEO.

McCaffrey resides in West Brookfield with her husband and their two sons.
