The COBRA premium subsidy eligibility period was extended again. The extension provides a COBRA premium subsidy for eligible individuals who are involuntarily terminated from employment through May 31, 2010. The Massachusetts Division of Insurance (DOI) has rejected the premium rates proposed by HNE for April and May effective dates, as well as the rates filed by most of the other Massachusetts health plans.
