This holiday season, Health New England has made a $1,000 donation to two local charities on behalf of you, our broker community, to thank you for your support.

• $1,000 to Friends of the Homeless (FOH): Located in Springfield, the FOH program is an emergency shelter and more. While FOH does provide a warm bed and hot shower to more than 1,000 individuals (18 years and older) each year, it also assigns case workers to each guest to help them find work and permanent homes, navigate state and federal assistance programs, and access behavioral and mental health supports.
• $1,000 to Springfield Rescue Mission: The Springfield Rescue Mission’s programs work to meet the most critical needs of our vulnerable neighbors by providing safe shelter, hot meals, clean clothing and a second chance to hundreds of people every year.

Because of the pandemic, the needs and demands on organizations that provide shelter, food and support are greater than ever. We know the donations we made on your behalf will go a long way in supporting the good work of these two organizations.
