Health New England has partnered with Rx Savings Solutions to help our members save money on prescriptions through an innovative pharmacy savings tool. Based on real prescription pricing, the tool uses claims data, the member’s actual plan benefits and accumulators to determine how they can save money at the pharmacy. Now, our Commercial fully funded and self-funded group members will have access to the Rx Savings Solutions program.

Members can save in a variety of ways, such as switching to another pharmacy with lower out-of-pocket prices, trying a generic or learning about clinically equivalent therapeutic alternatives. In addition, the tool includes a user-friendly portal with online search capability so members can proactively view prescription savings opportunities. Rx Savings Solutions will also send proactive savings notifications in the form of email, text and direct mail to Health New England members who have an active savings opportunity on their prescription(s).
