On November 1, 2016, Health New England launched a Medicare Referral Program* where brokers can be paid $100 for each client who enrolls in one of our individual Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement plans. Now’s the time to reach out to your clients who will soon be 65 or are over 65 and are thinking about retirement. Please let us know who is interested in learning more about Medicare and the Health New England Medicare team will be happy to provide educational information to these clients.

The ABCDs of Medicare

The number of people aging into Medicare is dramatically increasing, with approximately 10,000 baby boomers turning 65 each day. We know Medicare can be confusing, and oftentimes people don’t know where to begin. Health New England wants to help make understanding Medicare a little easier. Our team of licensed Medicare Plan Specialists can help.

During our presentation, we will review the basics of Medicare and answer these questions:

• When can I sign up for Medicare?
• How do I sign up for Medicare?
• What does Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) cover?
• What is the difference between a Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare Supplement Plan?
• What does the “Donut Hole” really mean? Will my prescriptions be covered?
• Can I use my same doctors? What if I want to travel?
• What if I want to continue to work – do I actually need Medicare coverage?
• What’s it going to cost me?

In addition to the basics of Medicare, we can also cover the Health New England Medicare plan options available. At Health New England, we offer a variety of plans, including both Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement. These plans are competitive in price and may offer additional benefits such as dental, vision, hearing, fitness and wellness allowances.
