Did you know? Health New England’s ‘Find a Drug’ tool offers easy access to brokers, employers and members to find and compare drugs in our formulary, including retail and mail order options.

We make our ‘Find a Drug’ tool available to the public on our website, healthnewengland.org. The tool is packed with helpful features that help you compare drug options all in one place – a feature that not all health plans are able to offer.

Simply select the drug name from our drop-down menu and get access to the following information:
• Brand name
• Generic name (if available)
• Category of drug
• Tier level (along with our formulary booklet for more information)
• Restrictions – such as prior authorizations or step level requirements (along with a medication request forms where applicable for providers)
• Mail order availability
• Access 90 availability (details whether or not a 90-day supply is available at retail)

The ‘Find a Drug’ tool is also available through our member portal, my.healthnewengland.org. Since our member portal requires log-in, we are able to customize the experience based on the member’s plan and benefits. This allows us to let members know the cost they will be responsible for paying for each drug, based on their plans.
