SPECIALTY PHARMACY CHANGE

Dear Health New England Member,
At Health New England (HNE), we want to inform you when your pharmacy benefits change. Starting September 3, 2013, BriovaRx™ will be HNE’s preferred specialty pharmacy. HNE will no longer cover medications from other specialty pharmacies.
BriovaRx™ is an experienced specialty pharmacy provider. They offer excellent customer service and clinical support. As a customer of BriovaRx™ you will have access to many support services including:
- Monthly calls by a Patient Care Coordinator to make sure you get your next delivery of medication
- Complete access to pharmacists and nurses
- Drug counseling about why your medication was prescribed, how it works, and how to administer and store it correctly
- Side effect management
- Answers to any questions or concerns you may have
- Free delivery of your medication directly to your home or work address, or physician’s office, via safe, temperature controlled packaging.
Studies have shown that this level of support can increase the quality of specialty medication therapy.
How to enroll with BriovaRx™?
A Patient Care Coordinator will be contacting you to help you enroll. You may also contact BriovaRx™ at 1.877.633.4807 to enroll. A Patient Care Coordinator will guide you through the process. They know that you will be joining us, and are ready to help. We have also notified your prescribing physician of this change.
Please read the attached “Frequently Asked Questions.” They offer insight into the full range of services BriovaRx™ will provide.
