Important Announcement Regarding EAP Program

As part of our commitment to provide affordable access to high quality health care, we continually review the benefits and services offered to our members. As a result, HNE will no longer include the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employer groups of 50 or fewer eligible employees upon renewal starting January 1, 2011. HNE had previously included the EAP as a value-added program through commercial products offered in the regulated market. The services available through the program were provided by Baystate EAP.
What is the Baystate EAP?
The Baystate Employee Assistance Program helps organizations, their employees and their household members by being a resource for people in tough times. Whether a person is struggling with problems in their personal life, or there are problems with an employee’s performance or interpersonal relationships at work, the Baystate EAP can help.
Now any size employer group can choose to offer EAP services by contracting directly with Baystate EAP for a small monthly fee. Services, billing and payment would be administered directly through Baystate EAP.
